The Movement Dance Company is an awarding winning dance company that competes on the regional and national level. The Company holds countless Choreography Awards, Top 10 scoring routines on the regional and national level, Technique Awards, Entertainment Awards, Showmanship Awards, Industry Dance Award Nominees and Overall Studio Awards including our most recent ones: The Studio On Fire Award at Inferno Dance 2018 (Overall Highest Scoring Studio), Stellar Award (Highest Scoring Group Dance) at Beyond the Stars 2021, Highest Scoring Dance at EDC 2023 and 2025, Highest Scoring Dance at Starpower 2024, Highest Scoring Dance at High Demand 2025, Highest Scoring Studio at Dancers Inc. 2023, 8X ADCC Studio of Excellence Award 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023(2x), 2024 and 2025. The Inspired by Passion Award at GROOVE 2019 & 2020.
Being on the team is a big but fun and super rewarding commitment. Our average company member trains 7+ hours a week in various styles of dance. Being apart of the MDC Company you don't just build a strong technical foundation, but you also learn to be confident, more creative, and you can make friends that last a life time. COMPETITION
All company members are required to attend
1 Convention, 3 Regional Competitions and
1 National Competition each year.
Each year we also attend 1-2 Optional Competition
open to all solos, duo, trios and select groups.
